Second Open Call for ECHO Ambassadors and Citizen Scientists!
Starting earlier this year, the ECHO Ambassador Program became available in more countries:

ECHO CHALLENGE: SOIL STORIES |

Feeling creative? Now's your chance to make art in service of soil! The Soil Stories challenge means to bring together artists and amateurs for a worthy cause: spreading awareness of the importance of soil health!
The challenge is separated into four categories:
1: children aged 6–10,
2: children aged 11–13,
3: young people aged 14–19,
and 4: ECHO Soil Ambassadors of all ages.

LOESS High-level Symposium: Shaping Soil Health Education for 2030 and Beyond |

On the 7th of May, many fertile minds gathered (both in person and online) for the LOESS High-Level Symposium. A high-level symposium requires high-level representation!Our coordinator Tanja Mimmo took part in the "Looking ahead: The Soil Mission towards 2030" round table discussion. Throughout the day, participants of the symposium got the exchange views on the growing soil literacy movement, the importance of the relationship between scientists and policy-makers, and much more. SOILS FOR EUROPE: Healthy Soils for a Sustainable Future |

Between the 7th and 11th of September, the city of Coimbra, Portugal will host this year's edition of the Soils for Europe Conference. This event brings together multiple Mission Soil projects, including ECHO! The themes of this year's conference include tackling soil degradation and soil sealing, preserving organic carbon stocks and showcasing important innovations in the field. We hope to see you there! |
